1 month

Hello Friends! Hope you all are doing so well! My life has been pretty exciting here in Buenos Aires these past few weeks, but then again isn't it always? :)
So two weekends ago we went to Iguazu Falls. Talk about the most beautiful waterfalls ever and the park that they are in is so amazing. Clarissa
( Candida's younger sister), Candida, our friend Michaela and I took the 17 hour Bus to the Falls. It's not as bad as it sounds really, the seats recline all the way back like a bed so it is possible to sleep quite well and plus they provide you with dinner and breakfast. We got there the next afternoon and went to the Falls with some friends we made at the hostel. The next day we went rappelling and canopying through the forest and also did a little bit of shopping. Twas Grand.
This past weekend we went out twice and I was trashed (as in tired not drunk- sorry Brittany ;) ) I simply cannot do the Argentine Lifestyle but I guess it makes for a good story that we were dancing until 6 in the morning. The first club was a hip hop one with breakdancers. The second was retro and we got to wear cool headbands and dance around. When in Buenos Aires...
Teaching English continues to be a blast and I love my kids. They always have so many great suggestions for things to do in Argentina and they are so smart when it comes to issues such as economics, politics, etc... This trip has been such a blessing. Seriously.
God is Good ( all the time) :)
Grace and Peace

Blessed

Two weeks. Gone just like that and yet it feels like I've been in Argentina for a really long time. This past week has been amazing to say the least with my internship starting and spending a weekend in the country (more on that later) to bonding with roomies and people in the house. There have been 4 new people that have arrived and they are from all over the world and U.S. and we have a grand time sitting around talking, shopping or making dinner together.

My internship= wonderful. I love the high schoolers! They are so sweet, fun and eager to learn english. I had my first conversation class with my kids this past thursday and they were such a delight. We even went over 30 mins but neither of us noticed because we were just having so much fun getting to know each other and joking around. Teaching English is the best! :)

This past weekend Candida, our new friend Ashley and I took a bus ride to Mendoza and spent a weekend in the country enjoying the greenery. Random fact: We played bingo on the bus and I won a bottle of wine! Too bad I don't drink it but at least the house gets to enjoy some!
Friday we walked around the park and hung out with some people in the hostel and then went horseback riding. It was beautiful weather, my horse Danino was the cutest, we got to hang out with these fun girls from Norway and to top it off Candida found her true love ;)
That night we had some yummy Asada at the hostel followed by a reggaeton dance party. Then the next day we went paragliding- in the Andes. It was quite the thrill just running off the mountain and soaring into the clear blue sky.
Trip of a lifetime- I think so :)
